Thanksgiving might be Jack's favorite holiday.

There was a time in the not too distant past when I could barely get Jack to eat a whole jar of meat-based baby food. He would taste a bit of meat with gravy and decide that didn't like the taste of it. He'd refuse to open his mouth again and the baby food would go to Bird. Don't get me wrong, he does eat. But he eats only cereal with mixed fruit or vegetable baby food. Charlene said, "He obviously prefers sweet over savory." I'd think to myself that he needs his protein and how will he get it when he doesn't like meat. A vegetarian in our midst? How very California of him. Well people, last night little man ate an entire jar of turkey with sweet potatoes. Followed by another jar of sweet potatoes. Followed by bottle of formula. I think he was still hungry after that. Meat masked by sweet vegetables, genius!
